The Reando's

This is my story camping trip from hell.

This vacation started off really good. We arrived at the campsite unloaded everything in 99 degree heat. I did not handle the heat well. Started feeling like I was going to pass out and throw up.

Meanwhile Frank worked his butt off unloading things and setting up the trailer. while I kept having to take sit down breaks and was having trouble breathing. We had just about everything setup both of us dripping with sweat only to find out our generator is not working properly. We could not get it to run our air conditioner. Then the frig wasn't working and hopefully the food isn't bad. My ferrets need to stay at 78 degrees or cooler or they can overheat and die. Well Bandit was the first to show signs of heat exhaustion so we put them back in the truck with A.C. running to cool them down. I shut the door without checking the door locks and locked the keys in the truck. I just about lost it I could not believe I did that. Started bang on the truck, unbelievable. Did I i mention it was 99 degrees.

Fortunately Frank was able to get in after breaking though and almost removing the side back window. Did I mention he is a rock star my hero. Well since the generator would not work we decided to pack up and head somewhere with hookups. Packing up was mostly on Frank I did what I could. I now have a migraine on top if feeling nausea and breathing hard.

So almost three hours had pass since we headed out on this adventure and we were both exhausted. So we decided to go to Willard it's cheap they have hookups. So on the way back through Logan Canyon the truck decided to throw an error "reduce engine power" again, a problem we thought was fixed last week. So the truck would only drive 30-40 miles an hour we finally made it to Willard about 9:15 pm one long exhausting 4 hours. We went to plug in the trailer and the cord was nowhere to be found it had been sucked up under the shower, that was a first. I'm thinking what next? Frank just finished setting up the trailer it is now 10:30 pm and there are a zillion bugs had to turn out the lights, but not before they got in the trailer from unloading and setting up. Past exhausted and starving, need a shower and a good night's sleep. Tomorrow we have to figure out how to get the trailer home and the truck fixed, goodbye savings.

I just want to go home take a swim and forget today.

Just heard Frank make a statement I never thought I'd hear "he doesn't want to go camping ever again! I did not sleep at all tired but I think I was just too exhausted if that is even a thing.
